I've been fussing with proportions and poly count, which I will probably continue to do... but other than that the model hasn't changed a lot. The big accomplishment here is that she is all uv'd and ready for texturing, yaay!
what polycount are you shooting for? sphere and round surfaces can rack up the polys. sometimes our old low poly models had crashing and floating geometry. our work didn't need to be water tight ... no light maps then.
Thanks Marty, I was definitely struggling with keeping her poly count low because of how many spherical shapes she is comprised of. Right now she is 5143 tris and it would be nice to get her under 5000 so I will try that method and see what it does for me. I had to take a bit of a break from her to work on something else, but hopefully I can go back to it soon.
